meet the doctor

After sustaining an injury in 2004 while serving in the Army National Guard, Dr. Zika suffered from significant, constant back pain and sciatica. He saw countless providers across multiple specialties (medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, etc) with no relief. After several months of ongoing symptoms and still being unable to sit, he was referred to a Gonstead chiropractor. He got off of the adjusting table after this specific Gonstead adjustment and was pain-free. This experience was the inspiration for his commitment to learning the Gonstead technique in order to help others get outstanding results through chiropractic care.

Dr. Zika and his family reside in Lakeville. He and his wife love raising their three children in the Lakeville community. They enjoy fitness, playing games as a family, being actively involved in their church community, traveling, cheering on all Minnesota sports teams, and being committed to lifelong learning regarding health. Dr. Zika has a passion for nutrition and enjoys traditional healthy cooking and educating others about nutrition. On weekends, he can often be found in the kitchen making sourdough bread and homemade komboucha with his children. He is also very passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives through coaching youth sports in the Lakeville community. Most evenings he goes straight from the office to either the football field or the basketball court.
